Christmas already?

     So I know it seems weird, but yes, Christmas is upon us, especially if you have a side business that needs to be ready to ship orders by the 25th of December! eek! It just seems so crazy to think about it when its only October, but I can't help but get excited. It's absolutely my favorite time of year. It's not the presents, or the food-oh the yummy food-or even the wonderful chaos of family and friends. To me, it's about the birth of our Savior. It is, by far, the most important thing in life to me and my family. If it weren't for Jesus being born, there would be nothing to live for. When friends and customers order signs, I get giddy when they want something that represents this.  It's such a wonderful thing to have a verse or a hymn or even something encouraging to look at every day on the wall. (I'd look like a sign shop if I had enough space on my wall for all the lovely signs- oh, wait, I am a sign shop!)  Anyway, here is just a start of a few signs we have made so far for this wonderful time of year.

Merry Christmas!
 Just a new sign to cheer you up.  Man, it's been a while since I've blogged. Between Christmas and making signs, There. Is. No. Time.  This is a cool little sign I whipped out one night.  I found the board at an antique store and wanted to have a really neat Christmas qhote on it.  I wish I could quit my day job and just paint all day! IT is very addicting!

Wow! I'm not a very good blogger. It's been a long time since I;ve posted anything. I guess I spend too much time on my crafty things and not enough time blogging. Here are some new signs that I've made over the past couple of days and I really like how they turned out.

Who am I

Welcome to my official first post on my first blog!!! I have to say that this is totally weird for me.  I am not a writer, nor do I have anything clever to say.  This is just a place where I can post really fun projects that I sell and make for anyone who will buy them.  But first..... lets take a look at my awesome family

So, now I will share some of my newest hobbie- SIGN PAINTING!!!!!! I love  it! I am totally addicted!  I sold my first 4 signs all this weekend and I just love seeing everyone's expressions when they see their custom signs.  More to come!!!
